SCOTCH EGGS
RHEON have been manufacturing equipment to make Scotch Eggs for three decades and over that time have gained experience and expertise in the required know-how. Rheon concentrate on several components, which are all important to Scotch egg producers and consumers:
An even covering of meat around the egg, with the egg being central.
Reducing the pressure on the meat for preserving the texture of good meat and added ingredients, to give a better quality product.
Having versatility to make different sized scotch eggs, different flavours and use up to 3 fillings.
To have varying levels of automation and capacity in their equipment to suit small and large food producers alike.
To have expert knowledge on the product not just the equipment.
KN551 Encruster with standard solid feeder
The Kn551 encruster with special agitator and the solid feeder attachment can deliver 30 scotch eggs per minute. Based on ’medium’ eggs
Special Megaformer
The special edition Megaformer can produce 160 perfectly made Scotch Eggs per minute.
Runny Scotch Eggs
Pre-prepared runny centre eggs often come in half-spherical shapes. In order to feed automatically into the KN551 to make scotch eggs it require special shaped parts. So that there is no breakage of these delicate eggs it has a throughput of 20 to25 pieces per minute.
Auto Solid Feeder with Egg detection
The standard solid feeder requires each egg to be placed onto the carousel. If your eggs are a uniformly consistent size then an auto feeder maybe an option so that it can be loaded with a bucket/bag at a time and have sensors to detect if there is no egg present before it goes into the meat.
