SLAVINK

Slavink is a Dutch meat dish consisting usually of ground meat called "half and half" (half beef, half pork) wrapped in bacon.

It comes in a few varieties including a beef version Rudervink.

Slavink in the Netherlands is made at home or at the local butchers, it is also sold in supermarkets. Kortlever manufacture bespoke lines which make this product for supermarket sales.

If this is compared to the products found in the UK it is like a cross between meatloaf and ‘pigs in blankets’. A delicious meal accompaniment or meal on its own.
